Delivery Sequence File processing improves the delivery of mailings by validating and standardizing addresses.
DSF2 is a "before-you-mail" service that improves deliverability and response rates. It lowers costs by identifying and not mailing to undeliverable as address (UAA).
DSF2 processing provides information for correct, standardized and updated address records against the Postal Service's file of over 145 million address points.
If the house number or PO Box does not match the DSF2 file, it is not considered deliverable. DSF2 is more accurate than other address verification processes, (i.e. ZIP+4® which compares based on house number range) because it relates to actual delivery points.
A big dilemma facing mailers is how to prove that a given address is valid. DSF2 is a data file containing all domestic addresses serviced by the U.S. Postal Service®. Each address is a separate record on the file that conforms to all USPS® addressing standards. These corrections and reports enable you not only to increase the efficiency of your mailings, but also to make educated marketing decisions.
We take your file and process it against the DSF2 file to verify addresses, or identify addresses that are non-existent, incorrect or incomplete. The results of this matching process will enable you to decide which addresses are reasonably certain of delivery and which should be eliminated.
