Name Formatting restructures your individual and name fields into a more useful format. Typically this involves parsing names into parts, such as title, first name, middle name, last name and suffix. However, this service can also be used to process your names into any format that meets your specific needs.
The Name Parse and Genderize service splits name fields in your mailing list into Prefix, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Suffix fields. Using the First Name, this service will then assign a gender code to each record. This code indicates if the first name is male, female, neutral (Terry, Chris, etc.) or unknown.
